Hacking Agriculture

Many people still don’t know what a ‘hack’ is. A hack isn’t cracking into someone’s computer or stealing a movie. A hack is using the tools at your disposal to push the capabilities of a system. Sometimes this can be a good thing (too many examples to share) and sometimes this can be a bad thing (also too many examples to share but reading the origins of Apple or the tale of Captain Crunch and his 2600 whistle are fun).

In Australia they have been hacking agriculture.

Why hack agriculture? Because there is a lot to be gained through the optimization of operations in ag through technology. But maybe the real reason is simply because we can.
