Failure is NOT an Option no Matter How Hot the Situation!

Have you ever had a bad day?  I’m sure you have.  I’m sure you’ve even had a “no sleep the night before in a cattle stall at 6 am trying to debug a navigational issue while in a haze of no sleep and everyone around you is wondering why something so simple is taking so long” bad kind of day.  We all have.  So what happens when, despite prep and the best of intentions, you just seem to have everything working against you.  Simply put, you forge on.  Solutions are not built around giving up and problems that are not addressed don’t go away.

If you went to business school you will have read the book Good to Great by Jim Collins – and if they didn’t make you read it go back to your business school and demand your money back. In his seminal management book, Mr. Collins’ team of researchers ground down the difference between companies that failed or flew depending upon what actions they took.  One of those actions was to Confront the Brutal Truth, or The Stockdale Paradox, that is, Confront the brutal truth of the situation, yet at the same time, never give up hope.

We are entering a new stage in the world of business.  Somehow, somewhere a competitor of yours is going to utilize a robot that will change your industry forever, and it’s up to You to beat them to the punch.  Your industry might be looking at impossible odds, dwindling margins, and shifting strategies but with impossible odds comes the chance for audacious, and brave, moves by men and women willing to push forward instead of leading from the rear-view mirror.

Call us, we can help you get the upper hand in the real world of today and tomorrow!
